Overview
This policy explains what data Klozio collects when you use our lead generation platform, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. "Klozio", "we", "us" refers to the operator of the Klozio service.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data — name, email, hashed password, workspace name, and team roles
- Billing data — handled by Paddle (our payment processor); we store your plan, subscription status, and credit balance, but never your full card details
- Search & lead data — the keywords you search, and the business listings, contact details, and AI scores returned for those searches
- Usage data — logs of searches run, exports created, credits and enrichment quota consumed, and API requests, used for billing accuracy and abuse prevention
- Technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and cookies used to keep you signed in (see Cookies below)
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service — running searches, enrichment, and exports
- To process payments and manage subscriptions via Paddle
- To enforce credit balances, enrichment quotas, and plan limits
- To send transactional emails (e.g. password resets, team invitations, low-credit alerts)
- To monitor for abuse, fraud, and to keep the Service secure and reliable
- To improve the Service based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and lead data for as long as your workspace is active. If you delete a lead or your account, we soft-delete the record immediately and permanently remove it from active systems within a reasonable period afterwards. Billing records may be retained longer where required for tax and accounting purposes.

Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls limiting who within our team can access production data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep yours as safe as possible.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
